A dog breeder had to rescue one of her own dogs from a shelter after the person who adopted him abandoned him.
Six months after adoption, the dog was picked up by animal control tied to a pole. The adopter first claimed he escaped while she was on vacation, then gave multiple conflicting stories. At the same time, she had posted on TikTok about rehoming him because she got a new mini dachshund puppy.
When the breeder reached out, the woman eventually admitted she wanted to surrender him due to barking and potential eviction issues โ but somehow still got another dog. She never contacted the breeder about any problems.
The breeder and her volunteers stepped in and got the dog out of the shelter. When the breeder messaged to let her know he was safe, the womanโs response was basically, โWell, I guess weโre done here.โ
This one is really sad. People need to understand that pets have feelings too.
Should people be required to contact the breeder or rescue if theyโre struggling with a dog before surrendering it?
While filming a 1A MAGA Audit in Seaside, Florida, the home of the Truman Show, Seaside's private security claimed to be the police, claimed we couldn't wear any political apparel in the entire city of Seaside and tried to trespass us from a public sidewalk until the police educated them on The First Amendment.
The walk of shame was epic! @FreeAndWhiskey

God, I miss the old SNL. The jeopardy skits with Sean Connery always made me laugh uncontrollably! I have to say that they are probably my favorite of all. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
