Some bridges aren’t meant to be rebuilt.

Sometimes you can give people chance after chance, stay loyal longer than you should, and keep trying to fix something you didn’t break.

Eventually, you realize walking away isn’t giving up. It’s choosing yourself.

If someone did you dirty, betrayed your trust, or showed you exactly where you stand, you don’t always have to rebuild that bridge.

Sometimes you let it burn and keep walking.

No revenge. No hate. No looking back.

Just lessons learned and peace found.

My true passion is firefighting. I always dreamed of being one as a kid to follow in my dad’s foot steps. I volunteered in NJ and this is from my time volunteering in TN.
Tennessee firefighting was way better than doing it in Jersey.
Maybe eventually I’ll pick the gear back up and do it. But for now I’m just relaxing

Finally, after 6 months of fighting with the VA. I finally got a continuous glucose monitor. Trying to figure out why my numbers are dropping crazy low. My worst Blood Sugar has been 28. Last night I was down to 36.

Luckily, my doctor is from Care in the Community. But the VA still has the final word on whether I get meds or equipment.

As a business owner, I can't stand it when I email someone about something and never get a reply back.

Like, even if you told me to go pound sand id have more respect for you than leaving me on read.

Guess no one has any decency anymore. Oh well. Off to write some more emails.

Just like that, another chapter in my life is closed. No complaints had fun while it lasted. Meet some really cool people and also lost some really cool people.

Happy to the ones I met and sorry to the ones that didn't turn out well. No hard feelings; still consider them family. But our paths went different ways.

So it's official: Burnin Outdoors is gone. Now time to just focus on myself and relax.

What did you do today?

Well, you know, I hung out with a bunch of Veterans and Disabled children.

AWO has been involved with this event for 3-4 years. The whole community comes together to make this day special for everyone.

It was crazy; we had over 650 people sign up to attend. Rain screwed us alittle this morning, scared away some attendees, but we still had about 500 guests.

Now here's some stuff we had going on for everyone other than just fishing.

Hi this is me right now.

I'm hosting a fishing event tomorrow for Veterans and children with disabilities. The staff member handling this event just called to tell me he's stuck in Florida and wont make it.

There are over 650+ people registered for the event. Plus, it's supposed to storm here tomorrow. Sooooo we'll see.

Good help is hard to find lol. I wish i could clone myself.
