@CodifyBaseball I saw it live, 35 rows behind home plate. As long as I've played/watched ball, hands are considered part of the bat. Correct?! People around me were asking, "Did it hit his forearm?" No one in the stadium clarified reason behind the call. I still dont like it. #TridentsUp

My last comment on this.

1). Losing Kalen isn’t a big deal. The timing and losing him after this momentum run and giving him everything he needs stings, but If they bring in a veteran coach that can immediately get portal players in, all is forgiven. As most of you mentioned, Kalen never had a great recruiting class at UW so next coach has opportunities.

2). I had a great mentor who was at my former college for 20+ years. His dream job was where he was- his dream job was mentoring young men, and having them have a home to come back to. His dream job was having relationships and a legacy. That world is rare today.

3). Kalen burnt the house down, but the foundation is strong and can be rebuilt. What hurt was we didn’t think he was like all the others looking for the next ring to climb. It always hurts when someone isn’t who you thought they were. But life goes on, and you learn from your lessons and mistakes. Next hire build a mote around them.
