2023: Smith indicted Trump twice. Both cases were dropped after he won.

Sept. 2023: The FBI had phone records for 8 GOP senators and a GOP congressman, showing who they called and when, per Grassley.

2025: Grassley released 197 subpoenas from Smith seeking records on more than 430 Republican people and groups, including Turning Point USA.

That's what Democrat control in D.C. looks like.
