Update: 5/18, 7pm: Ferry service remains suspended due to an equipment issue at Gooseberry Point dock. At this time, there is no estimated timeline for restoring service.

Ferry update: The Whatcom Chief remains out of service this afternoon. The vendor is on-site and troubleshooting the issue.
We will send an update either when we are back running or around 3 p.m. today, whichever comes first. Thank you for your patience.
The Whatcom Chief will be taken out of service beginning at 10:30 a.m. today to allow crews to complete repairs related to a steering issue identified Monday evening.

We will resume limited ferry service for the remainder of tonight's schedule. Riders should also expect limited service on Tuesday morning until a necessary repair is completed. Thank you for your patience.
