Helping you to understand what clinical psychologists do, in everyday language. I'm Ian and I work in the UK as a clinical psychologist in child mental health.
@tckrgv Give it a few weeks and half of this will be in your desk drawer or at home. Can take the person out of the NHS, but not the NHS out of the person
I have decided to set up a patreon membership account for anyone who wants to support my work on a regular basis: https://t.co/fJgr9Ck5pb I'll be uploading worksheets etc. I feel mixed about doing this because it goes against some of my collectivism principles... 1/
For those of you who have signed up to my Patreon or would like to: What resources would you like to see?
Formulation worksheets? Psychoeducation? Assessment templates? Emotional literacy? For children? Adults? People with learning disabilities?
@Juliet_Young1 Not used it before but would contribute probably on behalf of my service. Your illustrations would be great to use in psychoeducation with CYP, participation events, commissioner mtgs, team training / induction, and just to have around the building
@Juliet_Young1 Handing the thesis over to the bookbinders. Just like that weird feeling after exams when you no longer have to get back and do more revision
@Hello_ImBea@UKCP_Updates@BPSOfficial You might not be based in the North West, but @NWPPN have some great resources for all psychology professional options https://t.co/WOkGAjFwGm
@drmarydel Nice Mary - hope it’s a good new home. Just cleared out my office and came across some neuro books that haven’t been used for years - Brain Injury Workbook you got there? Miss the neuro life.
@Voi91Voi Read for enjoyment before it’s taken up with trying to absorb everything you don’t know. Secret: not knowing is the goal, so don’t stress, we’re all just trying our best
