@GestaltIT Enjoyed the metadata discussion - a topic that's near-and-dear to my heart!
Metadata plays such an important role. In fact, in some scenarios, metadata could be _more_ important than data. Crazy, huh?
@SFoskett Likewise! Your events always produce & deliver great content. Ah, blogging - that was good fun (and useful) although much of my work nowadays is on internal docs... Still try to push useful code to GitHub though, particularly to share with my friends in HPC 🙂
Finally have the fifth day of the Ashes on the radio in Sweden. On the downside, it's been a horrific batting morning, but on the plus side the radio can come with me while I do a series of ritualistic rain dances during lunch...
@trekkie@Bacon_Is_King Absolutely. In Sweden it's rather entertaining - how many "happy birthday" renditions end up with the final line being "då ska han/hon skjutas på en skottkärra fram" or "then he/she will be shot in a wheelbarrow going forwards" 😄😄😄
The broad misuse of the word 'revert' is dreadful.
Saying: "To fix the problem we have to make this change. I will do this and then revert."
Actually means: "I will make the change to fix the problem. And then I will un-fix it."
Please do not fix problem, and then un-fix it.
