Our 6th grade Minnesota History class has been studying Minnesota’s role in the fur trade.🌲🦦Paraprofessional Sandy O’Leary helped bring history to life by bringing in muskrat pelts that had been skinned, stretched, tanned, and sewn into headwear!

They have been studying simple machines and kinetic and potential energy. They finished up the units by building Rube Goldberg Machines.

Mrs. Lanter’s 1st grade has been learning about useful animal traits. They used straws and cups to mimic types of bird beaks and how each beak can help birds eat!!🦜
