Ms Soutar at @joeltonelem is a fantastic example of showing how to use sentence stems with a word bank and picture supports to support her students!! @MNPS_EL
Just learning how to use gifs instead of clip art to support visual vocabulary. What better time than a unit on verb endings? I'm going to have WAY too much fun with this moving forward. #scaffoldtosuccess
Metro Schools is proud of all our students who are peacefully protesting for their right to live and breathe in a just and equitable society. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏻 #Nashville
My husband sent this to me. After 2 months of quarantine, he’s still listening to what’s been weighing on my heart as we finish out this bizarre school year as best we can https://t.co/oFAHYdzZX2
What I really love - this is NOT the first year that students who entered the district as English Learners and are leaving as valedictorians and salutatorians. Way to go @MNPS_EL and these students!! https://t.co/EERFYv25mX
Targeted linguistic supports are everywhere! Ms. Wheeler knows how to make it all fit together. Here, her EL students jump into the Wonderstruck unit. Multiple EL levels and grade levels? No problem! @JoeltonMiddle @MNPS_EL 🙌
My Middle School classroom got adopted by Karen Holmes and we got a big batch today of things! I’m so happy!! Our class needed these so badly! @MNPS_EL @MetroSchools@JoeltonMiddle
I love the way this student did expressive faces and question marks to show the characters feelings! First we organize our thoughts and now we write! @MNPS_EL @joeltonelem
