From today disabled workers effectively "stop" earning for the rest of the year because of the pay gap between us and non-disabled workers.
That gap sits at 17.2%, with non-disabled employees making about £2.35 more per hour on average.

there are thousands of unpaid carers @Keir_Starmer providing hours & hours of unpaid care, they’re definitely working. They don’t go out to work, they stay in, day after day, many providing 90 + hours of care a week. They have no savings, no back up plan, many living in poverty!
In South Australia an 86 y/o terminally ill man has spent 10 months in hospital waiting for care support to go home
He's now given up hope of getting that support & is instead 'choosing' to die by assisted suicide
Is this the 'choice' we want in the UK?

SEND – Read our Stories, Hear Our Voices https://t.co/H0xh4totQv
The stories of families trying to navigate the SEND system need to be heard and listened to
I wish UK governments would have summits on child and disability poverty as regularly as they do on business, money and the continuation of dropping bombs on people.
This is the table display of Boris Johnson’s memoir at the Cheltenham Literature Festival tonight. Waterstones staff keep cleaning it up. But then festival goers keep doing it again! @cheltfestivals
