Seeing people genuinely passionate towards how god awful Black Widow was is kinda fascinating. Like sorry, but she was by far the worst character in the game for 8 entire seasons and was basically the poster child for throwing. She needed changes.

@BeaminBandit I think this is a good direction for the game to go in, it really leans into that marvel fantasy and isn’t all about team comp maxxing and being a slave to METAs, allows for more diverse team comps too.

Marvel Rivals changed the game like this because it’s supposed to make the game fun again.
It’s bringing chaos in a whimsy way and I’m here for it.
Not only is it nostalgic for day 1 players, it feels like a whole new game at the same time.
Embrace the change. I know it’s hard.
But coming from a creator FOR THE GAME, for the first time in a long time:
I don’t care about meta
I don’t care about bans
I don’t care about dive
I don’t care about comp/rank

I don’t care because I’m excited TO HAVE FUN AGAIN! and you should too 🥹

Black Widow wasnt a skillful character, shes just bad. She requires way too much to be made viable. Spiderman is an example of what a skillfull character is. You can put 20 hours into him and grasp value. You cant say the same about BW
