@boymonster Alien RPG for sure. All the players have secret agendas, and very often those agendas conflict. Sometimes there's a canonically "in charge" character which adds to the tension. I've had some of the most fantastic betrayals and plot twists that have come from this.

@dLsd_25 Your players will get distracted from your main plot by their own interests and character motivations.
Don't fight it, lean into it. Make plots around the things they decided to hyperfocus on, weave it into to yours, and you'll all have a better time.

It's sad saying goodbye to the fun effort that goes into a game; we still miss our world and characters we built together. But these games are ephemeral, which is what makes them so heartfelt.
