Not all marketplaces are created equal.
When pitching to investors, the standard marketplace playbook usually raises eyebrows regarding supply-side friction and low initial margins.
Here is how @Where2Wheel flipped the script, and the 3 reasons investors are leaning in:
1.) Unprecedented Monetization: Traditional marketplaces squeeze by on 10-15% take. Because of the unique value we embed, we’re able to command a 50% take-rate, drastically shortening our path to profitability.
2.) Order Aggregation (Supply Efficiency): We aren't a 1:1 transactional platform (1 order = 1 piece of inventory). By aggregating orders, we require significantly less supply to drive massive volume.
3.) Frictionless Expansion: We don't need to reinvent the wheel to grow. We have several adjacent verticals we can plug into right now with minimal operational changes.
This stat blew my mind.
As a founder you get so stuck in the micro picture:
MoM
This week vs last
Today versus yesterday
That you sometimes forget to also look at the macro picture.
While talking to one of our investors the other day, he asked “how does May 26 compare to May 25 revenue and booking wise?”
Honestly I didn’t know because we are always so focused on MoM that we rarely stop to analyze YoY. I knew 2026 was higher but had no clue by how much.
So yesterday during generating
@Where2Wheel’s monthly investor update I decided to take a wider lens and what I found surprised me.
Did you know the word "Jeep" might have come from a cartoon character?
Before it became the ultimate off-roading icon, the military vehicle was officially called the "G.P." (for General Purpose). 🪖
However, historians suggest soldiers started calling it "Jeep" after Eugene the Jeep, a popular, nimble, all-knowing cartoon character from the Popeye comic strips in the 1930s who could go anywhere and solve any problem. 💪
Talk about a fitting origin story for a vehicle built to conquer any terrain!
Lots in the works for the month of June!!
✔️Bookings
✔️Father’s Day rides in multiple markets
✔️New locations launching
✔️New programs
✔️First ever Summer Kickoff event
@Where2Wheel will hit 2 major growth milestones this month
1.) Launching 2 new markets within the same 30 days
2.) Mulitple bookings taking place on the same day in 3 separate regions on the East Coast (our target growth sector)
Big things in the pipeline as well so excited to push the boundaries again next month! 🙌
In the early days of a startup, you live and breathe experimentation.
Every single day is packed with micro-tests to see what sticks, what converts, and what falls flat. But when you’re moving at 100 mph, it’s incredibly easy to blink and miss the valuable insights right in front of you. 👀
I was catching up with one of our investors, Alex, the other day, and he reminded me of something critical: Stop and pay attention to the micro-experiments. They add up to your most actionable data.
So, we slowed down and put that mindset into practice this week at @Where2Wheel. We looked at our landowner referral program. We didn't change the monetary reward, and we didn't change the underlying structure. We just made a slight tweak to the language we used.
-> The result? A 60% increase in referrals within 72 hours. It was a powerful reminder that in the startup world, success isn't always about making massive, sweeping changes. Sometimes, it’s about the compounding effect of tiny, intentional adjustments. 📈
To my fellow founders and builders: Don't overlook the small tweaks today. They might just hold your biggest breakthroughs.
We do everything we can to make easy for landowners to say “yes” and signup on our marketplace. Sometimes that requires creativity on mapping & routing and other times it requires 💪

Sun’s out, tops off! ☀️🚙
We were thrilled to partner with MD’s Jeep Club to host their Go Topless 2026 ride this past weekend & what a massive success it was!
The event was a total sell-out 🙌We loved being able to provide the club with an exclusive off-roading option right in their backyard to cap off a day full of festivities. There’s nothing quite like the offroad community 💙
Huge thanks to the MD’s Jeep Club team for the collaboration.
We just hosted our first @Ford Raptor R at a Where2Wheel booking! 🙌
A common trend we’re seeing:
For many owners, their very first time taking their new rig off-pavement is with us. Why? Because we’ve removed the biggest barrier to off-roading—accessibility.
By bringing off-road experiences closer to home, we make it convenient for owners to finally use their vehicles for what they were actually built for.

@Where2Wheel hosted a team of engineering students from Old Dominion University that are building prototype offroad vehicles!
They had the same problem that our customers encounter … there was nowhere nearby for them to test their vehicles in an offroad environment. Luckily, they found us and were able attend & test their builds before their big competition in June!
They worked through problems & iterated designs on the fly all while enjoying some 4x4 fun at Moon Shine Farms on the Eastern Shore.
I think we may have even converted some of them to future Jeep owners 😀
@ODU
Look at any serious off-road rig, and you’ll see a curated history of that driver’s loyalty.
People are incredibly protective over what they stick on their vehicles. They don't give away that "real estate" easily. Seeing @Where2Wheel sitting among these logos is proof of Product-Market Fit in its purest form.
It tells me that W2W has moved beyond a utility and become a badge of identity.
At Where2Wheel, we’re driven by a love for the outdoors!! 🏔️ Today, let's celebrate the trails that bring us together and the environment that makes it all possible.
Happy Earth Day 🌎
At @Where2Wheel, we’re focused on unlocking private land for the off-road community. Our March metrics show the flywheel is spinning faster than ever:
🚀 Supply & Demand: By increasing our landowner pipeline by 33% and entering the Richmond market (240k+ new customers), we are securing the "inventory" needed to support our growth.
💰 Monetization & Testing: Revenue is up 19% MoM and social channel payouts increased 900%. We’ve also launched a 30-day marketing plan to test our paid auto shop program, creating new value streams for local businesses.
🌍 Global Potential: Hosting a sold-out event for NATO members from over 5 countries proved that the desire for curated off-road experiences is a global phenomenon.
📈 Scaling Fast: With 12-18 new properties slated for onboarding this year, we are eyeing a 300%+ increase in GMV.
We aren't just finding trails; we're building the infrastructure for the entire off-road community.
Mud, sweat, and gears. 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇩🇪🇳🇱🇫🇷
Today was a "first" for us and one for the books! We hosted a special W2W off-road event specifically for NATO members.
Seeing off-roaders from 5+ different countries come together was a reminder that our community is truly global. We spent the day navigating tough lines and sharing stories from around the world. It’s amazing how quickly "strangers" become a tight-knit convoy when there’s a trail to be conquered.
To our NATO guests: Thank you for your service, and thank you for bringing your A game to the trails today!
