Hot Dog review from CBS Sports classic

Dog: 3.5/5 (nice all beef frank)
Bun: 2/5 (claimed to be a “potato bun,” clearly was not.
Toppings: Condiments bar with options +2

Score: 7.5, not bad

Dog: 2.5/5 (Definition of average hotdog)
Bun: 1/5 (Somehow soggy on one side and crispy on the other, one of the worst ever)
Bonus: +.5 for Heinz from a bottle

We’re in Chicago for Champions Classic 2023. This is the most expensive hot dog to date.

Dog: 2.5/5 (much more substantial than its brother, too greasy though)
Bun: 3.5/5 (better integrity)

Overall: 7/10, the dog kept it from being really great.

I noticed at the Lou. Bats game that two of the concession stands had different hot dogs. One “regular hot dog” and one “All beef hot dog” so you know I had to get both (for my fans).

We ended up going to The Met for the afternoon. It’s absolutely massive and there was no way to see everything in an afternoon. It is also a horribly contrived maze, but great fun!

Cameron and I have arrived in New York for the weekend! We don’t have a lot of plans for the weekend besides @nbcsnl tonight. It’s just great traveling for real again, even if it’s just this weekend.

Bonus review! They had Cinnamon pretzels too, I’ve never seen that at high school game so I had to try it. However, I’ve been let down. Way to chewy and odd taste.

I’m at the North Oldham for their game against Oldham County. I came in the middle of the second quarter hoping to skip the line, no chance! Longest concession line I’ve seen in awhile.
