In Year 3, we had a wonderful day today dressed in our Halloween outfits and taking part in a Halloween dance!

This afternoon we have had Mrs Ratcliffe in class to show us how to make smoothies. We also tasted them, thank you for your time!Tomorrow Year 3 will be making their own to try!

Morrisons visited Year 3 this morning and talked about health eating and fair trade. Jo brought in lots of different fruits and vegetables for us to try. The fruit didn’t last long!

Today in science we have been feeling different foods and guessing what they were. We then discussed what foods are needed to make a healthy diet.

Yesterday we were tasting tea! We tried 5 different flavours and decided how they tasted! Some were horrible!

Today Year 3 have been creating mosaics, inspired by the Romans, using tiles, wood and PVA glue 💫

Year 3 have started a new Science topic which is all about plants. Today we planted sunflowers! 🌻 We will be monitoring their growth over the coming weeks and using this data to help us practise statistics in Maths 📊📈
