As much as I dislike the current culture of D&D. I found myself nostalgic this weekend, not for basic or advanced, but for 3/3.5e. It was my first TTRPG experience. Tons of third party stuff, open and creative community, solid system (tho easily broken). I miss it.

Mad about $80 video games.I suggest. Table Top RPGs. They're better for the imagination, have infinite replayability, The physical copy usually includes the digital, and most non-special editions range around $30 to $40. Also only one player needs to purchase the core book.

I have had this great want lately to return to D&D 3.5e. The new editions just feel off and the old school feels a bit to clunky. But 3.5 felt dead on. That could be because it was the system I started with though.

It is usually unnecessary, Id say it's more like a bonus. However, as a bi man I just wish we got more flavors of nudity. It's sadly pretty one sided in horror and movies in general. But alas, these days the puritans do seem to win.

It really is a solid and fun system with a great community. I have never had a bad Troika! game. Rules lite and easy to learn. Join the community if you like Weird Sci-Fantasy and whimsical absurdism.
