This is what an optimized checkout page should look like.
The checkout isn’t just the place where people enter their card details. It’s the final CRO layer before the purchase.
A few things I’d want here:
→ Countdown / reservation messaging, creates a reason to finish the order now instead of “coming back later.”
→ “Free shipping reached” confirmation, removes uncertainty and reinforces that the customer has already unlocked additional value.
→ Shipping protection / reassurance, tackles one of the last remaining anxieties: “What happens if my package gets lost or damaged?” And adds between $3-$5 to your bottom line revenue.
→ Brand USPs beside the order summary, customers are still evaluating the purchase during checkout. Reminding them *why* they chose you can reduce second thoughts.
Also fun to call out facts here, X amount of orders shipped, X amount of happy customers, etc.
→ Reviews directly in checkout, last-minute social proof at the exact point where hesitation tends to show up.
And one thing I’d add to this example:
→ FAQs inside the checkout.
Shipping times. Returns. Guarantee. Sizing. Subscriptions. Whatever the biggest pre-purchase objections are for that brand.
We’ve been testing FAQs in checkout heavily recently (shoutout @dtcpages for the inspo), and they’ve been a winner in ~95% of the tests we’ve run.
A customer reaching checkout doesn’t mean the sale is done.
There’s still a lot you can optimize between “I want this” and “Place order.”
Dropshipping product research trick:
Here's how to find products nobody else is testing:
1. Go to Facebook Ad Library
2. Select a language you don't normally search in
3. Type in health-related keywords: "pain", "relief", "back", "lymph", "bloating"
4. Sort by most recent
5. Find active Funnelish competitors nobody else has found yet
The most random words find the biggest winners.
Products nobody is testing yet = less competition = higher chance of winning.
