@Winebergz @aeritdem The problem isn't Aespa, it's the other groups in the poll. I-dle could be in any genre poll because they have songs in every type of genre and own it, but Red velvet by design is half dark/horror, and dreamcatcher is THE horror gg. To put Aespa above either is crazy.

@vivibows It's not just I-dle, Mys are renowned for attacking every fandom that can compete with their own. But please remember that most fans are just enjoying the music and content of their groups, fan wars are made by a very vocal minority in each fandom, even neverland.

@shadowjeon @westsidejeons I feel like if you ignore everything that makes I-dle unique and you just look at traditional success markers, they're still competing at the top level. Then you add their x-factors and it puts them far beyond. But western fans refuse to recognize their place amongst the peak.

@foxyeons I'm talking about the fans, not Soyeon. The fans are playing defense, so they take Soyeon's words as a weapon against perceived threats. Especially when a whole part of what nevies have over other groups is that our group is self produced.
I agree with your overall take too.

@foxyeons When you're playing defense, all words are fighting words. It's kind of like when Soojin's name was dropped during Soyeon's rap verse and people assumed it was shade. Some people can only take the most combative interpretation of words. It also echoes nevies industry complaints.

When I become a fan of an artist like Yuqi, I get curious about all the works she's involved with, even if it's something like a feature. I like to see all that she does. Why avoid her group work if you're her fan?

@Silvqi Most groups are able to multitask because they have different teams for different aspects. The creatives are able to produce the next album while the idols are promoting a comeback. I-dle can't because they're doing everything themselves. Plus they do a lot, solo and group.

@ayumiheo @CookieNevie @ThePopZoneX Cube is probably the 5th biggest company right now, but it's still considered a midsized company. It did really well in the 2nd gen, but fumbled the 3rd gen hard and nearly went bankrupt, I-dle single handedly brought them out and put them in 5th place.They're not 1 of the bigs.

@MinPeri52 @a1071364 Seriously. I'm sure many other groups have used the scorpion before. Very few concepts in K-pop are truly original. Hell I-dle had a scorpion prominent in their first ever comeback back in 2018
