An Old No. 7 and Coke was always my go-to drink while I was living in Nashville. Made me feel more Tennessean, I think.
I’ve learned since then, and since getting much deeper into whiskey, that @jackdaniels_us does in fact make some very good Tennessee Whiskey.
What are your thoughts on Infinity Bottles? Anybody currently have one? If so, do you measure and track the abv, or just freehand pours? Are you actually blending to achieve a certain flavor profile, or do you pour and pray like me?
The “World Whiskey Appreciation Bottle” currently contains random pours from 8 different countries! “Smoky Treats” as the name implies, contains some of my favorite peated stands from Scotland and Ireland.

@AbovApp Bottle that wasn’t worth it? Caribou Crossing for me. The nickname “Canadian Blanton’s” is fair, but this whiskey just fell completely flat for me. Caribou topper was worth the cost of the bottle tho 😏
@AbovApp One I surprisingly enjoyed was the Yamato Mizunara Finished Japanese Whisky. Bought it solely for the samurai armor, but a decent pour inside.
@BourbEnthusiasm It certainly was whiskey… pretty basic and one dimensional.
But hot take here; caribou toppers > racehorse toppers. Sorry, not sorry.
Christmas may be long over, but it’s perfect weather to enjoy a @GLBC_Cleveland Christmas Ale paired with @WigleWhiskey Rudolph Bourbon, Wigle’s classic Pittsburgh bourbon finished in Christmas Ale barrels. Perfect combo!

Last night, we celebrated a successful 2023 at @AbovApp. At the end of every year, the ABOV team gets together to reflect and enjoy a bottle of whiskey selected by me!
This year, we enjoyed this tasty rye from @Varchaswhiskeys. Beautiful bottle and a solid rye inside!
