Saturdays result was kinda expected
With lots out & lots carrying injuries
Boys gave it their best shot
Stirling reds were pretty special at moving the ball & deserved winners

Our boys won a hard fought battle last night
Showing lots of great combinations
But individually
They were all terrific
Most carrying some injury of sort
But all determined to win ⚽️

Boys started their season 25/26 in good style, with an opening league cup win against a good side that we know all about
The boys had to work hard in their 1st 90 min game
& they earned every bit of that result ⚽️

Against a side that had an end of season look to it

Before that, we are at home to riverside, where a win puts us top of the league
In order to put real pressure on the top 2

It’s always a few days after a defeat 😂
This was our sorest, since last yrs cup final defeat
Getting beat off anyone is tough
But without a doubt, it’s even worse when it’s a cup style knockout
& even even worse, when it’s pretty rotten & hostile & obnoxious from the fans
