Thursday AM trip .. Yet another fabulous showing from a Minke swimming and rolling alongside Specksioneer .. That's twice in a few days now!

Weather conditions a little challenging today but .. This PM trip is out 30th trip since our last 'blank' .. 3 or Minke on both trips!

No Humpback but what a trip.. Perfect weather and 12 (twelve) Minke whales plus a Tall Ship for the morning !

A few birds starting to appear.. Last couple days we have seen Manx Shearwater, Arctic Skua PLUS a Little Stint on the wheelhouse roof !

Breaking news! A Humpback breached close to the commercial salmon boat 'Courage' at 930am today under cliffs at Ravenscar!!!

First good size herring shoal of the season.. 4 Minke plenty of sunshine .. Perfect! @northyorkmoors @VisitYNT

This is more like it.. Just south of Whitby and for the first time this season we are number crunching .. Is it 4 or 5 Minke around us?

On our second trip with whales seals gannets less than half a mile of Saltwick Bay and under the 'Highlight' . I could get used to this!

@GrimstonBirder Odd ones tween Hayburn Wyke and Skinnygrove but last night 4 Minke seen 2 mile off the harbour on a 2hr Finding Fins trip

A lobster boat skipper tells me that he had FOUR Minke around his boat this morning just off the harbour.. Great news!
