Some history. In 1953, MLB would not allow Gussie Busch to re-name Sportsman’s Park to Budweiser Stadium, and thus naming it after a brand of beer. So he named it after himself, Busch Stadium.

In 1955, Anheuser-Busch introduced the Busch brand of beer.
