I’m pleased to announce that I have officially started as a part-time Media Content Coordinator with Sportsnet! I’m excited to work more at Sportsnet and continue to grow my sports media career!
An interesting subplot as the #StanleyCup final approaches is whether it's also the end of Hockey Night in Canada. The new SN deal begins next season, and there has been no announcement on whether they will continue sub-licensing to CBC, which owns the #HNIC branding. 👀

Just talked with several fans in RF who saw what happened.
They described it as an accident. They said a young fan, about 13, saw Sánchez flapping his glove as if to indicate to play catch. The kid then threw the ball late, after Sánchez turned around.
The fan was kicked out.
A fan in right field during the Blue Jays/Orioles game just threw a baseball at Jesus Sanchez and injured the right fielder. Sanchez left the game after this bizarre incident
@Braylon_Breeze@AnnouncersNHL Potential for lots of change at Sportsnet! I’d be surprised to see them unload playoff inventory as they really value tentpole events/series (Cup Final, All-Star game, etc). Still, I’m surprised to see them looking to sub-license to Bell/Crave, so it's a very interesting time.
@fulton_quinn2 Sportsnet does have the rights, but they would like to recoup some value through sub-licensing games out to other networks. It’s why Amazon Prime has had Monday Night Hockey for the past two seasons.
Wow! I knew Amazon would still be interested in TV rights after two seasons on Mondays, but moving to Wednesdays and then having Bell back on Mondays is a surprise! I’m interested to see how it all plays out, but potential big changes ahead for Canadian viewers! #NHL
National broadcast rights in Canada are growing. Per industry sources, Amazon Prime games are moving to Wednesdays next season, while Bell is back in the mix with Crave on Mondays. SN will continue Saturdays & add Thursdays, I believe. More here ⤵️ https://t.co/GjYvyfpHHO
Hearing the #CFL new six-year broadcast agreement, everything combined, is worth about $500 million. That's very very significant. Not only does the deal continue the league's longstanding partnership with Bell Media but adds DAZN and YouTube as partners. Solid deal all around.
As significant a day and a move and a landmark pivot for the CFL as it has had in its history.
To have a major worldwide streaming service be *this* committed is a massive step forward for the league, and for fans to get a more enhanced viewing experience.
Some pretty big news out of the #CFL! No more TSN exclusively next season, as both DAZN and YouTube will join the picture. I’m super interested in seeing what they bring to the table with their CFL coverage, but being on multiple platforms is always positive in my opinion.
NEWS: The #CFL announces landmark Canadian and global media agreements.
Six-year agreements beginning 2027 feature Canadian media powerhouse @Bell Media extending its longstanding CFL partnership; with global sports entertainment leader @DAZN joining as a new Canadian and International broadcast partner. @YouTube named a CFL Premier Platform Partner starting next year.
