There’s an alternate timeline, for example, where members were so outraged by the church falsifying financial disclosures that the presiding bishop resigned and the church moved toward transparency.

Scripture and documented revelation gives zero basis for preserving “temporary commandments” re. homosexuality while abandoning kosher, mixed fabrics, etc. etc.

From an objective view, it seems the only real standard is commandments we like vs. commandments we don’t.
