Worked at The Mortons before they closed and now I work at a high school. I have an Amazing 16-yr old son who is my world. My passion is #AnimalRescue, #music.
@scull_judith@saniyafatma1278 The vet is not always the answer. Why don’t you myob! She is doing a compassionate thing. Who says she didn’t or wasn’t taking him to the vet anyways!
Today, I saw a tiny soul lying on the cold ground, too tired to play, too weak to run, and too quiet to ask for help.
While the world rushes by, some lives are simply trying to survive another day.
No home.
No warm bed.
No one waiting for them.
Just silent suffering hidden behind innocent eyes.
It breaks my heart knowing that all this little one wants is a safe place, a full stomach, and someone to care.
Sometimes the smallest creatures carry the biggest pain.
If kindness costs nothing, why do so many go without it?
A gray cat named Mickey disappeared during a severe storm almost a year earlier.
His owner, a 9-year-old boy named Ethan, searched everywhere for him.
Ethan’s family put up missing posters, checked shelters, and searched the streets regularly.
Even after many months without results, Ethan never gave up hope.
Every night, he left the porch light on in case Mickey returned home.
During this time, Mickey survived alone outdoors despite being an indoor cat.
He searched for food in trash cans and hid from bad weather under cars and near warm vents.
Life on the streets left him weak, dirty, thin, and injured.
Despite everything, Mickey continued wearing the blue collar Ethan had given him.
Nearly a year later, a woman found the weak cat outside a grocery store parking lot.
She noticed the old tag on his collar and called the phone number attached to it.
Ethan rushed to the location after receiving the call.
When Ethan softly called Mickey’s name, the cat recognized him immediately.
Mickey ran toward Ethan despite his injured legs.
Ethan hugged him tightly while Mickey purred against him.
The story highlights loyalty, hope, and the strong bond between a pet and its owner.
It ends with the message that love can sometimes find its way home again.
hey everyone, i just wanted to ask for prayers and good thoughts for my cat right now. this has honestly been one of the scariest things i’ve ever dealt with. when we first brought him home, he wasn’t eating, drinking, or using the bathroom, and by saturday he started showing more serious symptoms and was clearly uncomfortable and not acting like himself.
we found out he has a urinary obstruction, they were able to relieve the blockage and decompress his bladder, but because of how long everything had been building up, his potassium levels became dangerously high. he’s now hospitalized, catheterized, and being monitored closely for the next few days while they try to stabilize him and get his levels back down.
seeing him like this has been heartbreaking, and the house already feels so empty without him here. he means absolutely everything to me, and i’m trying really hard to stay hopeful and positive for him right now. i’d really appreciate any prayers, good thoughts, or positivity for my sweet boy. 🤍
Times are incredibly tough for Penny, Lorin, and little Julian. Please share and consider helping them through this difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness.
