Found out today what has been tearing up the frame of my garage door. I chased this young groundhog out of my garage. This marmot is also commonly called a woodchuck or whistle pig. Need to set up my Have-a-Heart trap and relocate him to one of my "lesser" friends. 😎😉😆

Checked the ISU Mesonet site today for Growing Degree Days (based 50F and rainfall) amounts since April 1st. Shenandoah (SW IA) is about 1 week behind normal for GDD's and just 0.13 inches less than normal for rainfall. It has been a cold spring! https://t.co/rpYz70p4sY
