Another successful Monday at Whitmore Bakery. Our roasted butternut squash soup was a huge hit!! 16 staff ordered for their lunch. Our brownie orders were very high & surplus stock flew off the trolley along with lemon drizzle, carrot cake and old school sprinkle cake 👩🏻🍳 👏🏻
Another successful MONDAY at our school BAKERY - we had a retro pineapple upside down cake new to the menu this week. Some sprinkled & Easter egg brownies, fruit scones, cookies & lemon drizzle @WhitmoreHigh@WhitmoreBase thank you to staff who supported through purchasing 🙏🏻
Last week was our biggest week in terms of sales for our Bakery. We raised well over £50 from our weekly orders & surplus sales from the trolley. The biscoff brownie was a sell out, as was the old skool tray bake. We also attempted the NYC cookies 🍪 @WhitmoreHigh@WhitmoreBase
Our mushroom soup 🍄🟫 was a hit this week in bakery. Mrs Jackson & student ‘A’ were on soup duty this week. Tasked with making 3 huge batches to fulfil our orders @WhitmoreHigh@WhitmoreBase To top it off we had such fantastic feedback about the flavour & very happy customers!
Mrs Davies & Mrs Smiths Yr 10 H&C students did a fabulous job with their challenge this week. To bake and decorate a layered cake. Lots of different skills demonstrated by students. They looked very creative so creative 🎂 da iawn all 👏🏻 @WhitmoreHigh@WhitmoreHigh10

Another busy & successful day in bakery. Completely sold out. The chocolate & raspberry cake was a hit! Our new gooey Black Forest cookies tasted so delicious & indulgent. The biscoff brownie has been requested again for next week 🙌🏻 👏🏻 @WhitmoreBase@WhitmoreHigh@WhitmoreALN

Our soups are proving very popular on our menu. This week Mr Currie gave us the idea of doing a French onion 🧅 soup. It was a huge success. Chef👩🏻🍳 Emmie & Grace were tasked with making it & Mrs Ollier said it tasted so delicious & was full of flavour @WhitmoreHigh@WhitmoreALN
A super busy, yet successful bakery 👩🏻🍳 🍞 🥯 this week. We made over £60 worth of sales for charity & made lots of staff super happy. Lots of delicious bakes on our menu; scones, old skool cake, cookies, biscoff brownies, Victoria sponge & jam and coconut cake @WhitmoreHigh

Another busy morning in the Bakery. Lots of delicious treats on the menu; banana & choco chip muffins, lemon drizzle cake, bread & roasted butternut squash soup. The soup with a bread roll was a HUGE hit. It tasted absolutely delish! @WhitmoreHigh@WhitmoreALN@WhitmoreBase

@WhitmoreHigh10 made Chicken Nuggets/Goujons yesterday with Mrs Davies. Learning about the importance of handling raw meat, they prepped their chicken on their red boards. They then learnt how to breadcrumb & used chilli Doritos as their crumb @WHSdog @WhitmoreHigh#FoodEdu
Fabulous baking on display by these young ladies at break time. For their WBQ project they created a fundraiser to support the ‘International Rescue Committee’. I bought a few brownies & they were absolutely delicious 👌🏻 the right amount of gooey centre @WHSdog @WhitmoreHigh
