@DrMakhakhe When I was younger I told my parents I didn’t want to play sports any more and they told me if I quit I’d be a quitter my whole life 🫠
I still quit. And I joined a whole bunch of fine arts clubs and excelled at those instead
@SAMIAFIASCO I’ve definitely had bad male gynos, but both woman gynos I’ve had were bad. My current doctor is male and he’s great. He actually helped me find answers to issues I’ve had for over a decade 🤷🏻♀️
@ShitpostGate I was taught how to do taxes, but it was pretty useless. I have a ton of things that I have to add to my taxes that they just didn’t account for when teaching, like moving states, student loans, marriage, home loans, etc.
@daddysenpai222u@_sandra_mohamed I don’t mind if my dogs lick me, but not on the face. And I wash my hands before cooking/eating after cuddling my dogs
@lingerie_addict I live in South Carolina and I’d like to wear actually dry clothes. And clothes that don’t have all manner of pollen coating them. That said, I do have a drying rack for blouses and things that shouldn’t go in the dryer, but it stays in the bedroom with the extra AC unit
@WrittenByHanna I work a 9-5 and I love my job 😅😅 I don’t quite have enough time to go home during lunch to play with my dogs but I have super flexible hours so it’s fine
@BisqueBoi And hey, this being a cancer center, I’m like omg his cancer is in remission or something like that but no, he hits me with the “Jesus loves you” and hands me a pamphlet for his church.
We all stopped talking after that.
@BisqueBoi This reminds me of how a few weeks ago I was getting into the elevator at work, and I ended up in a car with several patients. We were all joking around and making small talk until this one guy goes “have you heard the good news?”
@SaCha1689@shaTIRED@ijustwanabethe1 My dad harped on me and my siblings to “get an education and good jobs” so we all went to college and now most of us have decent jobs and we no longer agree with his world views and now he’s mad about it and routinely tells us that we’re idealist idiots for wanting better 🙃
@VicVijayakumar When we were looking for a house, there were ZERO properties left that were less than a hour drive from where my job is that didn’t have an HOA. It was either deal with one, not have a house, or commute over an hour and a half. We ended up with an HOA
@InternetH0F One time in college I missed an analytical chem test bc I was super sick and when I went to go make it up I started crying bc I was struggling so much with the math in it and my prof could tell when I turned it in and he gave me an A even though I definitely didn’t earn it
@mischiefanimals I used to do this with my dog when I was a kid. She once stopped suddenly and yanked me off my bike, causing me to get a hell of a scraped knee, broken handle bars, and my poor girl got half strangled. We limped home and I didn’t do it again.
@MDRichardson6@AshleyGWinter In case you haven’t noticed babes, it’s 2023 now ❤️
But since you’re purposefully being obtuse, I’m going to mute these replies bc I have better thing to do with my night than argue with someone who just wants to be mad.
@MDRichardson6@AshleyGWinter DNA isn’t a good test though, there’s plenty of people with genetic anomalies that gives them extra sex chromosomes. Are those people not allowed to compete at all? That’s getting into eugenics and we’ve decided as a society that eugenics ain’t cool
@MDRichardson6@AshleyGWinter As for athletics, there’s clear, documented evidence that MTF trans athletes perform worse post transition than pre-transition, so yes, the athletes that are claiming that they lost bc they were competing against “men” are being transphobic. That is literally the definition.
@MDRichardson6@AshleyGWinter Hets aren’t part of pride bc they’ve never been part of the excluded group. There have never been laws banning men from marrying women. Women have been marginalized, that’s why there’s things like feminism and women’s history month.
@EPerson68@Dexerto The clip is pretty short, but it looks like they have decent motor control. As for a sudden lack of control, I’d think that’d be closer to becoming paraplegic/quadriplegic, where you can tell your body to move those muscles and it just doesn’t.
