@NomianPro @smashbaals Like I said, your Supersessionist bias. You are so full of hatred and misunderstandings. They are still God’s chosen people. He’s not done with them. The last thing I’ll say is to read Rom 11, humble yourself like Paul says, and really meditate on this. See esp. v. 15, 18.
@NomianPro @smashbaals It’s all in the gospels. You’re letting your hatred of Jews guide your interp. Look at Matthew 27. At the sentencing, the Jewish group said to let Jesus’ blood be on them and their children. Now look at 26. What is Jesus’ blood for? Forgiveness. Really beautifully crafted.
@NomianPro @smashbaals I think you need to read Rom 11 again. However, what you are arguing is irrelevant to the original post. “The Jews” did not kill Jesus. Only a specific group did along with the Gentiles. There is a reason the deicide argument has pretty much disappeared in academia.
@NomianPro @smashbaals That is incorrect both biblically and historically. In the literal definition of Christian as a Christ follower, then maybe, but they were still Jews. You're making a distinction between Christians and Jews that did not exist in the 1st Cent.
@NomianPro @smashbaals Who is he talking about? He doesn’t mean literally all Jews killed Jesus. The biblical context is that only a specific group of Jews were part of the events. Why do you think there was a great mourning by Jewish people when they saw Jesus carrying the cross?
@ancientorigins We already know that it was the lake: “ The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur.”
@Black_Belt_Mag Depends, but one thing people neglect is that you need to practice techniques slow before you can do them fast. Most of the time people just do it fast off the bat and it just looks sloppy
One thing I’ve consistently noticed from both Reformed Christians and evolutionists is the exact same automatic response when they receive criticism. They always reply with, “You don’t understand Reformed theology/evolution.”
