@canva Hey....we were on the legacy pricing, and our subscription expired - even though I'd gone in to update our card. Now your website is telling us to reach out to support to get things fixed, but support refuses to fix them. They say there's nothing they can do. Can you help?
@DorothyDalton If he wanted to go uber-meta while acknowledging that a number of people see Twitter as a second-class platform now, he could call it "X-posting", pronounced "cross-posting". :D
@ajdewerd@RobertMSterling@AmandaMGoetz Terse = good if you're providing the needed info. I used to have a client that would routinely reply to "A, B, or C?" with "Sounds good." :)
@StaceyVaselaney Agree with all the people saying "no", with the possible caveat that if there are any projects actively going on with a *PARTICULAR* contact I would make sure that your contact knows how to contact your client if needed.
@MintMobile8 Do I have to turn on Data Roaming for *VOICE* service to work overseas on UpRoam? Or will voice work by default? I'd prefer to not use *ANY* data overseas.
@lovevalgeisler Am I missing something? I think that the logo & design probably didn't do much, but I'd think revising a brand's messaging could do a fair bit to increase both conversion & retentions.
@alexacphillips To me these all look like a 1970s TV show. In principle I like #3 best, as concentric circles/ovals (1,2,4) feel very stodgy to me. But those lines intersect the text, making it hard to read. I'd try rotating the background 90 degrees and centering the text in the non-lined space
@pootlepress@iamkrisrisner That's cool. It might be a viable WP competitor if somebody is just putting up a static template. I would imagine that most businesses are going to want more from their site once they get things going.
@aplosha@amandanat "Good enough" is always relative to a use case, which includes everything you mentioned. That said, when I was looking for a therapist, there was a *SIX MONTH* waiting list. If we could get the AI to do *any part* of the work, it could help address that issue.
@klndrrp @KirillRagozin@CharlesPattson You definitely have a different experience from me. :) I'm not hard on my equipment, but I've had a number of cables go bad on me. Not with laptops where the stuff is basically tied to a desk, but anything that winds up traveling in my backpack has had issues.
@aplosha@amandanat I agree 100% that it's not a replacement. But with therapy it exists in the middle of a continuum where the low end is "people getting no help at all" and the high end is "hire a therapist." It might be good enough for people whose needs are primarily introspective.
@TalebKabbara That said, Apple *didn't* talk about the price first thing. They talked about everything else to get you thinking about how awesome it would be, and anchored the price to the cost of a bunch of other equipment. For some people, that made the cost look much more reasonable.
@KirillRagozin@CharlesPattson The concern for the cable IMHO isn't its existence, but how horrible Apple is at making cables and the fact that it looks soldered into the battery pack. How long does the average iPhone charger last? :)
@NadiaWorsley Yes. The challenge with apps is that no matter what it is, the other person has to have it. I can hand you a piece of cardstock whether or not you have the app du jour. And if you want, you can snap a photo and hand it back. :)
@aplosha@amandanat In many cases, isn't it both? The therapist listens, validates, and asks questions.
AI can't believably say "I understand; I feel that way too" - but it *can* say "you seem angry about your mother's behavior. What about your mother doing that makes you angry?"
@StroteBook The key is that, no matter what your schedule looks like, you set up all the invoices at once. Most billing systems let you schedule future invoices, or a series, or whatever. Once you're doing one, it's trivial to do a second or third. Task switching costs are the biggest part.
