Media is belittling a survivor & insinuating conspiracy, again. What happened to me was brutal & life-altering. Police took out an AVO on my behalf, later replaced by enforceable undertakings. He wasn’t charged because of Parliament’s weak security and his friends protecting him
I still feel like women are screaming into an echo chamber. Doesn’t feel like there’s a genuine shift in enthusiasm to change anything quite yet apart from ‘allowing’ us to be ‘heard’. #auspoI
How political offices function needs to be change. The culture needs an overhaul. MPs & senior staff need to be trained in how to manage people & receive complaints. A standard in behaviour needs to be actively managed. Victims not politics need to be the first priority.

Another day another staffer speaks out about being assaulted in the workplace. I hope it’s becoming clearer to everyone that it’s not the women who speak out who are the problem, who need to be managed or fixed.

Kudos & deep respect to the women on #4corners tonight.
Speaking out against powerful men used to kill political careers. Let’s hope the women are not pushed aside & the men actually see consequence.
Old politics is no longer tenable. Character needs to matter.

When men do the wrong thing, they should apologise. Most men do. But when they don’t they should be called out.
It’s for every woman & girl who’s been told or made to stay silent in the face of harassment and disrespect that I took legal action. Today’s ruling is a win for them
Good to see the Victorian Labor Party taking real action. Leaves me confused as to why the man who assaulted me and was convicted of a crime while in office - still hasn’t been expelled from the Labor party. https://t.co/9ihkj9XKtX
This is how the deplorable human actually behaves - attacking others mental heath in the media. Crocodile tears to try and look like he’s had a hard time dealing with all the decisions he’s made in life. Disgusting.

Former NSW Labor boss Jamie Clements appears visibly upset and tells #ICAC he was "very close to a breakdown" in 2017. He's offered a break as he appears on the verge of tears but declines.
