Ran you've known me since 2017 (though we haven't been in touch in years) and I've been building @ULTRADE_org on $ALGO.
#Algorand is a phenomenal blockchain to build on, both in terms of ease of development as well as its capabilities. Unrivaled, in my opinion.
To clarify though, #Ultrade uses Algorand as part of the backend tech stack, as the hub for our native crosschain platform which enables crosschain orderbook trading without wrapped assets (bridges) between #Ethereum, #Solana, #Polygon, #Avalanche, #Arbitrum, #Base, #BNB, #Optimism and of course Algorand itself. There's a lot of hype around certain blockchains even if it's not justified, while some like $Algo get glossed over because they weren't included in the crypto zeitgeist. But there's valuable stuff being built there.

To no surprise #memecoins are leading. Even #CryptoAI can't compete by volume.

On Apr 24th 2024 I tweeted on memecoin $CARLO with market cap just $1.5M (now mc is $17M and ROI 11x) 💰

Low volume narrative = no retail in it = altcoins slowly dying ✍️
Example: GameFi narrative has a low volume (not even in Top 15 crypto narratives by volume).
Token prices of most crypto gaming projects are under performing for years 🤬

Even L1 and L2 chains figured out that the way to get retail to your chain - is by having few hot memecoins on it.

After success of memecoins on ETH and SOL, even Binance saw the potential (cough, cough profits from trading fees from memecoins high trading volume).

On Apr 2nd 2024 Binance crypto exchange announced the launch of the BNB Meme Token Challenge Program.
Devs could get up to $1M in reward for creating top new memecoins by volume.

Follow the retail money = money flowing in memecoins = make money trying to outsmart the retail investors.

Looking Oct to Dec 2023 all 3 charts in pic showing us that US M2 money supply, FED liquidity and Global M2 rate of change increased (and were highly correlated with prices of both Bitcoin and Ethereum).

Since both crypto currencies represent over 75% of crypto market cap, where these two go - most altcoins follow.

Time to go for the bullseye 🎯

Let's focus to find biggest 1 month change in rate of US M2 money supply 💥

From Mar to Apr 2024 we had the strongest rate of change in money supply (in last 12 months).

Is it a coincidence or a high correlation that on Mar 14th 2024, Bitcoin printed ATH ✍️

Like it or not, prices of most altcoins and crypto startups will start going higher and reach new ATH, when liquidity will be increased.

For liquidity to be increased, key factors that need to happen are interest rate cut or/and new money printing.

And this is why US Presidential Election is this year key factor affecting crypto markets and price of altcoins.

Waiting now interest rate cut either in Jun or Sep 2024 - once this happens, we can expect altcoins to start moving higher.
