Sometimes the sad truth is realizing that other people’s lives would improve with “you” gone. When you have that realization the only ways to go are to fix yourself or if you feel unfixable to leave. It’s a horrible place to be and that’s why he wanted to push everyone away. That’s why as he’s dying he’s most upset by the fact that Pomni and the others are upset because he says “you weren’t supposed to care.” He feels guilty leaving them even though he can’t bare to be anymore. He’s looking for a guilt free exit and when he finally gets it with real love and compassion back he changes his mind to “I don’t want to go” but by then it’s too late.

The message isn’t that you should love your abuser. The message is that some times the person doing the hurting isn’t trying to hurt you, yet they still are. How do we handle that if the person hurting you wants to change and is trying but needs help? Caine reacted badly absolutely but he’s not malicious or evil. He crashed out in an inappropriate way but he’s always wanted to fit in with them he just struggled to figure out how to. I will say though I think it’s weird he doesn’t mention to them that he removed the corrupted AI and that Bubble is gone now but whatever I guess

@Duckness33 @Pirat_Nation I played FPS games back when they felt and played different. Something like Halo felt different from CoD or Battlefield or Gears of War etc. now everything just uses the same engine, same basic physics, lazy music and design and push micro transactions. No better than LoL.
