John Wesley appears more in line with a biblical prophetic caricature than Joseph Smith does when you compare:
1) 1st hand accounts and journals
2) historic legacy
3) prophecy and fruits of the spirit
It's honestly sad to put the two men up side by side...it's incomparable
I’m excited to share the release of Westminster Reader— a clean, focused app for reading and studying the Westminster Standards.
The app includes:
• Westminster Confession of Faith
• Westminster Shorter Catechism
• Westminster Larger Catechism
• Full offline KJV proof texts
• Searchable prooftexts
• Flash cards
• Reading plans
• Bookmarks
• Light and dark reading themes
My hope is that this app will make the Standards easier to read, search, study, and return to again and again.
Westminster Reader is available now.

@shawnmethodist@Methodist_Prime@freemarketeer1 What are you winning? The Methodist connexionalism is the entire basis for the classes and society? If we break off these connections we weaken as a whole. Institution or not.
I grew up Mormon. Left the Church when Christ called me into his grace. This topic on what the Latter-Day Saints are is exhausting. Definitionally and categorically they do not qualify for what had been normatively called Christian for over a Millennium. 4 Gen Pioneer kid.
Sometimes it's your first time at an annual conference as a Methodist, and it gets a lil bit Charismatic/Pentecostal. Not usually my strain, but the Lord likes to surprise us I suppose.
@Salt_n_Smoke As an anecdote to some presumptions. I was very active, dedicated, did seminary and institute. One church history theology very well. I got married and she and I left while we dated for married by a Baptist preacher. Found our Lord together. :)
