Last night I played ARC Raiders with a woman and we both got downed by a Rocketeer while taking photos. A random raider showed up, and when my duo asked if they had a defib that raider said “yes” followed by a series of things like, “you have a beautiful voice” and “do you have a boyfriend?”. He was audibly disappointed to hear her honest answer of having a husband.

As if that behaviour in a video game isn’t scummy enough, upon hearing an answer he didn’t like, he decided he no longer had a defib for her and left assuming she would succumb to time.

Except she didn’t. She had the survivor augment - as did I while hiding in the tunnel to avoid being seen by Mr. A/S/L - and we both slow crawled ourselves to a safe extract.

I know this is a video game and that one person’s weird is another person’s weirdo, but don’t behave like the guy above.
