@JLMurray17@ATomlinson95 Fantastic interview. Your enthusiasm for the game comes through. I learned so much working with you on the Football Management course and since with the ongoing conversation.
Developing the person and the player π
As part of our ongoing player education program, we welcomed Dr Stephen Robertson to HTC to speak about the importance of psychology in sport π§ β½οΈ
@devisridhar Join a club or society as it allows you to meet people from different courses and years. They've been through many of the same things as you and it builds a wider support network.
As the Applied Management Course - in conjunction with @EdinburghNapier - continues for players we asked class tutor @WholeClubFrame the most transferable skill (s) that players can take into this course β¬οΈπ
Trying to figure "what's next?" is incredibly difficult. It's been my pleasure and privilege to work with four groups of players and coaches as they consider the next steps.
I don't have many answers but I do have a lot questions to help make sense of the environment.
Looking forward to in person presentations at @ENUBusSchool this afternoon with @PFAScotland members on the Applied Football Management programme. It's almost 3 years since we were last able to present together.
I'm looking forward to this even if the players aren't!
@PeteOlusoga Thank you for articulating your thoughts and emotions here. I've got no answers but I can say that I 100% understand your frustration. Something has changed and I can't figure it out either. All I can say is, it's not just you.
Fantastic to see @EdNapierAlumni Zander using this opportunity to question and educate.
He never was one to stay quiet so I'm glad to see that hasn't changed.
@OliverKay Is itpartky that we are finding out what happens to people after a prolonged period of pressure? The cycle of games must take its toll physically and mentally.
The most enjoyable part of working with three different groups of players and coaches is watching them make sense of their experience as they look to the future.
Working with @dothebartman1 and others has been an incredible learning experience for me.
