If you're currently 25-32, please read this carefully.
You're actually standing at a crossroads that few people realize.
You're no longer young enough to act recklessly, but you're not old enough to be unable to start over.
The most dangerous thing at this stage isn't failure, but rather the fear of trying.
You'll start thinking: "I don't really like this job, but it seems okay?" "I'm not sure if this path is right, but will things get worse if I switch?" So you keep dragging things out.
But I want to tell you directly: 25-32 is the time in your life when the cost of making mistakes is lowest.
You have the energy, the time, some experience, and you don't have a mortgage, children, or aging parents to weigh on you.
So now: Change jobs, learn new skills, travel, go anywhere you want to go, move to another city, start a business, fail.
Waste time on things you want to know, because you can afford to waste it now.
For many people, the most painful thing isn't failure, but knowing that they could have taken a different path back then, but didn't.
We disrupted a highly sophisticated AI-led espionage campaign.
The attack targeted large tech companies, financial institutions, chemical manufacturing companies, and government agencies. We assess with high confidence that the threat actor was a Chinese state-sponsored group.
@arpit_bhayani How does this design choice affect speed or resilience? Why would a pull based approach be slower? And there are mechanisms for resilience in pull based replications too similar to what redis has where they use WAL for comparison to decide what updates need to be run on the slave
@sense_is_able@arpit_bhayani The same would happen in a pull based approach too. However, that approach would add the overhead of slave nodes repeatedly polling the master node for updates which this approach doesn't have.
@rapidobikeapp And @rapidobikeapp please enable using wallet balance for auto rides or transferring the amount to your account. I don't know how this shit is legal.
The customer support of @rapidobikeapp is so fraudulent.
If you were overcharged on an auto ride, no problem! We'll refund the amount, but not your account. We'll refund it to your rapido wallet. What's the problem? You can withdraw money from your wallet right? NO! YOU CANT!
@rapidobikeapp@rapidobikeapp you are the scammiest app I ahve ever used. From inflating ride fares instead of keeping them fair to this wallet nonsense, you are the worst app. I'd never use it if I wasn't living in Bangalore!
At least you can use it against your next ride with them and pay only the difference of the fare shown and your wallet's balance, right? NUH-UH! CAN'T DO THAT EITHER! This stupid wallet only works for bike rides not auto rides!

Verstappen’s drive today was a perfect reflection of his season. Peerless. In a class all of his own in 2022. Like Michael Schumacher before him, while controversy may have clouded his first, his follow up has been dominant and indisputable.
