OK so you get vaccinated, you don't give a credit card, you don't receive a bill, your life is saved and we all understand this works because we are getting an economy of scale for the medicine, the shots, the staff, a process by which we all benefit.
THAT is medicare for all.
FYI, in case anyone has shared info from previous years, AAA is not doing the tipsy tow this year due to covid.
“AAA is not allowing passengers to ride in our tow trucks to ensure compliance with social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC."
Replacing the words "the economy" with "rich people's yacht money"
-How can we respond to COVID without sacrificing rich people's yacht money?
-Saving the environment sounds nice but what about rich people's yacht money?
-Medicare for all would destroy rich people's yacht money
People who argue that dramatic changes to policing, including budgetary ones, will mean “violent people will be let out of jail to roam free” rarely ever acknowledge that’s actually the current system we have today for the privileged
It’s fuckin wild how the solution is as simple as “just pay places to be closed and pay people to stay home” and that’s been the solution this whole time and the government is just like “nah”
I have time today because I am sick & tired of seeing powerful people with both hands deep in the cookie jar turn around and tell people there’s nothing in there for them or our country’s future.
It’s rank hypocrisy and corruption. Incompetence at best. We shouldn’t tolerate it.
I am alarmed by the surge in reported COVID-19 infections, hospitalizations, and fatalities. This crisis demands a robust and immediate federal response which has been woefully lacking.
Can we please get people stimulus checks and mortgage relief and rent forgiveness and small business support and free testing and hazard pay and healthcare for the uninsured (& underinsured) in the middle of a pandemic or is that too socialist too?
47% of workers in Georgia make less than $15 an hour and 71% of voters in Georgia support increasing the federal minimum wage.
If Democrats take back the Senate, we will increase the minimum wage from a starvation wage of $7.25 an hour to a living wage of at least $15 an hour.
Hey, folks: the margins are razor-thin & every vote counts! If you voted by mail/absentee, make sure your ballot was accepted. If it was rejected, you can still fix it.
Go here to check, then RT this when you've confirmed your vote was counted. Thanks. https://t.co/frDupMkD3t
