@thefon7bang @ac_logix @KarnRulez @christian11_xxx @GooseG00se @HamillHimself Not anymore!
1. I would argue that any material becomes the fan's once it gets to a certain level of popularity and even the creator does not have the right to go back and make changes at that point.
2. Disney paid him $4 billion for it, so they can do whatever THEY want!
@thefon7bang @ac_logix @KarnRulez @christian11_xxx @GooseG00se @HamillHimself Actually, I am 31 and it's funny because earlier you said they only way someone could like the ST is if they are young. Which is how I feel about the PT. I could only like the PT as a child. I can appreciate the ST as an adult.
@GooseG00se @thefon7bang @ac_logix @KarnRulez @christian11_xxx @HamillHimself The plot issues may have been present in that the three movies were not cohesive with one another, but I wouldn't say their are too many plot issues if each movie is taken individually. And I fully admit it was misguided for each movie to be done individually.
@thefon7bang @ac_logix @KarnRulez @christian11_xxx @GooseG00se @HamillHimself George Lucas has done a lot of VERY misguided things to the franchise. I am grateful he created the universe, but when he is in charge, shit goes to hell in a handbasket! HE is the main person who is more into visuals than story and characters.
@thefon7bang @ac_logix @KarnRulez @christian11_xxx @GooseG00se @HamillHimself How old were you when the Prequels came out? Those movies are trash for so many reasons and how they handled Anakin's character wasn't one of them.
@ac_logix @KarnRulez @thefon7bang @christian11_xxx @GooseG00se @HamillHimself Snoke was ALWAYS meant to be a Palpatine clone! Did you not see the Snoke pieces floating in the tanks? Also, Palpatine was pretty clearly dead when we first see him (body possessed by the Sith) and only comes back to life after absorbing energy from Rey.
@ac_logix @KarnRulez @thefon7bang @christian11_xxx @GooseG00se @HamillHimself Actually Snoke calls him "last of the Knights of Ren" in Episode 7, so I never expected them to show up in the movies at all. Anyway, I am just glad we didn't get another prequel trilogy. Not really worried if a bunch of people didn't understand that the sequels were really good.
@ac_logix @KarnRulez @thefon7bang @christian11_xxx @GooseG00se @HamillHimself ...the same issues in the original trilogy as well. There were just less people who's opinions we were aware of and they got elevated in our minds to these untouchable things. But all Star Wars movies have their problems, so I choose to focus on the good stuff instead.
@ac_logix @KarnRulez @thefon7bang @christian11_xxx @GooseG00se @HamillHimself My point is that Star Wars is (and always has) been made with the room to tell more stories. Just because Phasma or the Knights of Ren weren't in the movies as much as we may have liked doesn't mean they won't have their important parts to play in the Star Wars mythos.
