Follow the 4th graders in our BMS classroom as we share and chronicle some of the interesting activities and lessons making teaching, learning & growth visible.
Someone (not in education) was surprised to hear that teachers have to set up their own classrooms.
She thought we had someone to do that for us and we just walk in the first day and start teaching. I had to explain it takes days of prep + physical labor. And we don’t get paid.
I’ve put together an Amazon Wish List for a few more items I’d L💗VE to have for my classroom for anyone who is willing and able to help out. Any contributions are incredibly appreciated!

@lester_laminack Ha! We JUST had 2 consecutive snow days this week in Acton-Boxb. making a 4.5 day Thanksgiving break 6.5 days!!!=mini vacation...Well, for the kids.I was busy with report cards. Ugh! truly sad thing was how many of my Ss did NOT go outside play in the snow! So sad for 9 & 10 yo.
If you see students at @BlanchardMem sprinting the length of the hallway, long jumping, hopping on one foot, or holding staring contests, fear not! It’s just our 4th grade mathematicians (and many helpers!) at work collecting data. 🤩 @WhyteWord4News@jas_washington
