@nicholasphilp Yes. Reason why we are still doing precautionary even though met with incredulity. It's a pretty limiting lifestyle right now but then so is death, long covid or cognitive decline. But the tools we can so easily use will get harder to come by ie cheap testing, masks & boosts etc
@ddoggiesmommy Thank you. He was a good wee fella. But I just mentioned as I think their behaviours (or lack?) are impacted by things we may not realise at the time. Your Yahoo too - many ❤ thoughts.
I don't fly by plane, so I hadn't really been paying much attention to air on planes, but I just had one of those "wait a second, how does ventilation work on a jet airplane" moments wondering why the CO2 doesn't just keep rising during flight, so I did a quick search...
@John_Dabell for serendipitously popping up on my feed this morning:
"The difference between worrier and warrior is two vowels"
❤
Following.
Thank you for a timely reminder can all do with more optimism and spirit in these crazy times.
Kia kaha mate!
They pay. I saw this racket exported from US in Aus. Kids paid agents to come and get 'reputable' companies added to their CVs. This was a decade ago. Hopefully no longer....
@1NewsNZ If I was @chrishipkins, @_chloeswarbrick etc, I'd be making a special point to fill the vacuum in the media's diary now that luxon has handed off control to others
If I keep masking for another couple of years and it turns out all the scientists researching it are mistaken and it's actually fine to catch covid again and again, then I'll just have been healthy for five years in a row for the first time in my life for no reason at all. 😕
@DALupton Wtaf. "There is usually no point in knowing if you have covid or not." Is this just Bergman level Swedish fatalism or just a crazy take on public health measures in a pandemic.
@phillippaonline I know. Am also no fan of JC BUT this alternative we have is so poor in every area. Even in his alleged specialty of marketing and boss man he sucks bad eggs.
