i still can’t believe our 2014 team had a perfect season up until March Madness and breezed through the first round but lost in round of 32… was heartbreaking for me considering how heavily invested i was that entire season.

our basketball program has never returned to the glory we had under Gregg Marshall, his resignation and fallout in 2020 was very sad to see, but i hope Paul Mills can bring this team back to the NCAA tournament. we haven’t even come close since 2021 first four exit

Fred VanVleet, Ron Baker, Cleanthony Early will always be legends in the Wichita fandom. doesn’t matter how some of their NBA careers ended up aside from Fred, they are forever in Shocker royalty. their contributions towards the program was a huge part of my childhood.
