we have what is basically a transphobic hate group that is actively trying to destroy documentation of trans people's discrimination, but because they're also trans people, somehow I'm the bad one for always talking about it and bringing attention and awareness to this issue

there's a flat out hateful extremist group in our own back yard, but the victims of that hate group are always the ones told to "stop infighting" (despite never throwing the first punch basically ever). nobody holds any of them accountable. they get rewarded, in fact.

they get rewarded with media attention and supporters and their entire gfms paid off so they can buy a new multi thousand dollar gaming computer, meanwhile a mutual of mine over on tumblr (likely, Ansel still hasnt been found) killed himself a few weeks ago due to economic stress

@therapatical @C0BR4H The tone is also no different than the way people speak to women they find stupid. I haven't gained special respect as a trans man. I'm still talked down to with the only difference being pronouns and just how many type of people speak to me this way.

I think it's weirder to treat a fictional character like a real person being misrepresented when the issue you have is that you don't like someone else's personal headcanon that makes them feel seen. There's more emotion given to this fictional character than the "real" person.
