Wick E. Scratch

I work with data and databases to pay for my collection of autographs and baseball cards/memorabilia.

It isn't the dog's name. It is just because it is a dog. And what is Dodger Stadium famous for? Dodger Dogs! @MLBNetwork

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@sybil1037 it is thread lock (in theory - they always end up falling out on me eventually).

I think I read somewhere it also has another purpose - makes it easier for people who have to count them at the factory. Could be BS tho.
Great to hear you after 15+ yrs I've been away from TX!

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@MLBNetwork @CY24_7 @SieraSantos @CC_Sabathia @Rangers @Mets I love Clubhouse Editions - I wish there was a way to be there live and to ask questions and stuff. How awesome would THAT be?!?

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@SlangsOnSports @MLBNetwork Regarding yesterday's @Angels Triple Play - was that the first Triple Play turned that involved a player in his first MLB game? Haven't seen any mention of it, and don't want to research myself if it has already been researched

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@Dadof4diaries @rogerclemens I agree 💯. That's probably my second biggest issue - lack of communication between league and parents (whether direct or via coaches), and lack of info on league websites re: things like practices, games, equipment, contact persons, etc for parents looking to sign their kid up

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@rogerclemens I have a 4 year old - 'other parents' aren't *yet* the #1 issue. In my experience so far, it is league officials not caring about T-Ball or any similar "first year" level teams, treating them, the coaches, and parents like an afterthought, and focus on 'competitive' levels

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@fergieajenkins Riffing on what @Markgubicza said re: what he learned from 'the immortals'
Instead of just 1 game - could be 1 game at LLWS, 1 at a young prospect showcase, 1 at Futures game, 1 at MLB All-Star Game. So many players of all ages to learn from y'all

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@pugsandco What f*cked up series of events caused you, in 2023, to watch a cat food commercial that aired 46 years ago (1977)?!?
(Morris does sound a *lot* like Tim Gunn, tho)

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@LGRed @NHLNetwork You look like you are reacting to a Bad Dad Joke ... like "The leading goal scorer isn't Connor McDavid - it's Eschutsie... Eschutsie Skoorz."

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@pugsandco FWIW, about 20 yrs ago, a shy, awkward Me went to a P&K event near him in TX. K took me to the bar to meet you, we talked sports a bit, gave me a shot of Jameson, and were genuinely nice. I had a train of thought to tie this to fame, but have lost it....

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

#WorldSeries2022 @MLBONFOX I can't rewind to see if I heard right, but did Smoltz say the Braves were down 3 games to 2 going into game 6 in 1991? They would have been up 3 games to 2, since the home team won every game in that series if I recall right

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@snoshi @LaurenShehadi @RoFlo @markdero7 If I ever met Lauren (or any @MLBNetwork folks, really), roasting is totally warranted. Anytime I've met players/etc, I've had "I like turtles" moments. 6 heads of Romaine word salad, but what I wanted to say was Hi, I'm a fan, may I have your autograph please? #HamAndEgger

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@MLBNetwork #MLBTonight @Plakata Rocco, you aren't alone as a Texas Rangers fan in New Jersey (7A, yo)! After moving here, learned quick that saying "the Rangers" when asked who your team is can result in hockey/baseball confusion and hilarity.

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

Welp, I apparently need to learn about this thing called "Phrasing" ... thanks @RoFlo

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@MLBNetwork @markdero7 @RoFlo Is @LaurenShehadi going to be OK? She Honk-laughed, then radio-silent. I'm not sure I've heard noises like that come out of a human before ...

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@CameronMaybin "it just takes one team to believe in you ..... I had 10"
Me: *spittake while sorting baseball cards* welp, at least the rookies are sleeved
@AlexAvilaMLB @GregAmsinger

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@TheMayorsOffice @markdero7 @PujolsFive Albert and I are roughly the same age, but our 'raking' looks muuuuch different

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@TheMayorsOffice I think I'm Doin' It ... Added these bits of awesome to my recollection collection. Much appreciated!

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@LGRed @Brett_Phillips8 "Dallas: HEE HEE" ... even though I know it isn't like this, I heard that in my head like Michael Jackson when I read that ...

[Wick E. Scratch @WickyScratch]

@Plesac19 @Brewers I came across this card the other day while going through some cards I had kept from when I was younger #CoolStoryBro
