I know I would be texting with my brother about the Wolves. He was a fan from the beginning.

Jessi and my brother shared a trait that their enthusiasm for sports was contagious, and on a night like tonight I wish I could share that with them.

I first met Jessi Pierce last summer after I had set up a media day golf event for The Club at Golden Valley. When she arrived, the news had just broken that Tarasenko had been signed. She golfed and then got to work in the clubhouse sending out her thoughts.

I miss her and it couples with the fact the last time I talked to her was on March 19, which was the day in 2015 that my brother killed himself. Jessi and her kids were gone two days later.

I guess I'm just having a hard time right with it all right now.

Robins made their nest on our deck light. The mom flies away every time the dogs have to go out. I wasn't sure if the eggs had hatched yet so I reached up my phone. Yep!
(Also, she flies right back when the dogs come in.)

11 years ago and yesterday. My son is the little one in the left photo and on the right (now 6'3" lol).

This first photo was 4 months after my brother killed himself. We put a few ashes of his in the flower bed.

They took the flowers away for a while. Glad they're back.
