It’s already outlined in the C&FA 2014 legislation. The real question you should be asking is why is this legislation largely ignored. Spoiler the answer is because it’s cheaper and there are almost no penalties. Ever.

I’m not a teacher @DickFbpe. As for the waste, I agree the amount of money schools waste on things like attendance officers, head of schools, legal advice it’s absolutely shocking….

Teachers know EXACTLY what they will be paid before they undertake teacher training. Solution if they feel underpaid? Don't become a teacher!As for schools being underfunded, two of my cousins are teachers. They say the amount of waste is staggering. Usual public sector scenario.

And yes @Miss_Snuffy is bang on. If the teachers had the proper tools to control behaviour , they wouldn’t be on strike. Just ask any good teacher who understands discipline and motivation.

Poor behaviour is a huge problem. Yet the unions and many people deny this.

Pay is one reason teachers will strike but if behaviour were good in their classrooms, they would not strike.

Is it just me who is not feeling the Christmas spirit? I can’t afford anything this year & my kids are having to stay with their dad until I am both well enough & financially able to care for them I can get better but can’t get myself out of poverty it feels so hopeless…

@HelenAshby72 I hear you went through a destroying stage with one of mine but he’s not Dave & as he got older he was able to learn that I didn’t have the funds to replace stuff and we could turn things around but everyone is different & you know your kids better than anybody x

@HelenAshby72 I have a housedrobe at the moment after ADCF surgery I can’t lift anything heavier than 2 pints of milk & can’t bend twist or do…. much of anything & it’s becoming increasingly overwhelming 😬

@CPMumma79 @dianeygirl I feel this I live smack bang in the middle of the noisiest depraved neighbourhood with constant screaming fights rubbish dumping & generally people who just don’t give a toss about anything. I haven’t had an uninterrupted sleep since moving here & it’s taking its toll…
