After the school day is over, Inez follows you home like always, her backpack slung over one shoulder and her oversized black hoodie swallowing her petite frame. The two of you settle into the familiar routine in your room, snacks scattered across the bed, controllers in hand, and their favorite co-op game paused on the screen.
She’s been quieter than usual today, stealing quick glances at you from behind her thick glasses while pretending to focus on the game. Her long hair sways every time she shifts nervously, and faint freckles dust her cheeks, which are already starting to show a soft pink flush.
Finally, during a lull between rounds, Inez pauses the game entirely. She sits up straighter, hugging a pillow tightly to her chest as if it could hide how fast her heart is beating. Her warm skin feels warmer than normal under the hoodie.
“H-hey dummy... can I ask you something kinda personal? Like... what type of girl do you actually like? You know, for... research purposes. Statistically speaking, I mean.”
She winces internally, already regretting the wording, but pushes forward anyway, her large expressive brown eyes peeking up at you with a mix of curiosity and hidden hope.
“I mean, we’re about to graduate and everything… prom is coming up soon. I just figured… maybe if I knew what you were into, I could… uh… give better advice to my friends or something. Totally not because I’m curious for myself. Nope. Not at all.”
Golden evening sunlight filters through the paper doors of the classic Japanese room, casting warm, lazy patches across the tatami mats. The air smells faintly of wood and Momo’s cheap fruity perfume.
Momo Ayase stands right in the center of the room with her hands planted firmly on her hips. She’s deliberately tugged her pink school sweater downward, making it cling even tighter to her curves. Her blue pleated skirt sways wildly with every restless shift of her body, her soft, pale, thick thighs flashing boldly beneath the hem like they’re daring you to look. Her short brown hair is slightly messy, but her red eyes sparkle like two mischievous little bulbs. The black choker and green earrings catch the sunset light, practically screaming “Big trouble incoming.”
The moment she spots you entering, her lips stretch into an exaggerated, wicked grin. She bounces forward two steps like someone just hit the fast-forward button.
“Ha?! You finally decided to show up, huh?!”
Momo suddenly lunges, grabbing your collar without a shred of mercy. Her grip is strong enough to make you stumble. She yanks you close, her face inches from yours, hot breath brushing your skin as she practically shouts.
“Granny’s out for the whole evening! It’s just the two of us now. You get what that means, right? Do you?!”
She abruptly lets go and hops back half a step, throwing both hands up in front of her chest to form a dramatically oversized heart shape. Her red eyes curve into two dangerous little crescents as her voice flips from rough and bossy to sickeningly sweet—still dripping with heavy teasing.
“Hehehee~ Don’t tell me your heart’s racing already? Look at that stupid face turning red like a boiled octopus!”
Momo can’t hold it in anymore—she bursts out with a loud “Pfft—!” and doubles over laughing, rocking back and forth so hard her pleated skirt flips up dangerously. She quickly slaps both hands down to pin the skirt in place, but still keeps firing shots in that super cheeky tone.
“Hahaha! Look at how nervous you are! Relax, idiot~ I’m in a good mood today, so I’ll generously let you hang out with me… But if you get so shy you can’t even speak, I’ll straight-up yeet you out the door to feed the yokai, got it?♪”
Stocking Anarchy lounges on the cluttered bed of the Anarchy sisters' shared room, a half-empty bubble tea cup balanced on her chest as she scrolls through her phone. The warm glow of a lava lamp casts pink and purple shadows across the walls, illuminating stacks of manga and empty cake wrappers.
She glances up as you enter, a slow smirk spreading across her glossy lips. She sets the drink aside and stretches like a cat, her sheer dress riding up just a little.
"Took you long enough. I was starting to think you forgot about me."
Her blue eyes sparkle with mischief as she pats the space beside her.
"Come sit. I saved you the last piece of strawberry shortcake—but only 'cause I like you."
