🚨PROPERTY TAX HIKE ALERT!!! Your local governments are about to vote on whether or not to raise your property taxes!!
Property tax discussions are often made overly complicated by big government liberals who want to raise your taxes, but who don’t want you to know it!
Let me cut through the spin and be crystal clear: ANY LOCAL OFFICIAL WHO VOTES FOR A TAX RATE HIGHER THAN THE NO-NEW-REVENUE (NNR) RATE IS VOTING TO RAISE YOUR PROPERTY TAXES!!
Be warned, you’ll likely hear officials brag that they plan to “lower your tax RATE.” This is a gimmick... even if your tax RATE is lower than last year's tax RATE, due to rising property appraisals, your property tax BILL will still be higher than last year’s bill if the rate is set higher than the NNR rate.
You can think of the NO-NEW-REVENUE rate (NNR) as last year's “effective” rate adjusted for inflation of assessed values. And the “no new revenue” rate is a very misleading name because it actually brings in a ton of new revenue to local government, especially in growing areas.
Never forget: a lower property tax RATE is still a property TAX INCREASE… if the rate is set higher than NNR, even if the rate is lower than last year's.
Join me in demanding local governments CUT PROPERTY TAXES by setting rates that are BELOW the No-New-Revenue rate.
Tell them that you know that any vote for a rate higher than the NNR is a vote to raise property taxes!
Never ending property taxes are immoral, unethical, and I will keep fighting to abolish them! But, in the meantime, the least we can demand of local officials is that they NOT raise property taxes.
See my letter to local elected officials below.
@LeaderJohnThune@TaxCuts@tedcruz and @JohnCornyn where are you guys? I don’t hear much from you on the Save America Act. Get involved in a big way. Cornyn, maybe you could save your a$$ if you would be bold on getting this accomplished.
@brianeharrison@Burrows4TX just can’t stop himself from helping the opposition. The adjective “conservative” should never again be associated with this power hungry cockroach!
@GovHotWheels_TX I’m still paying ever increasing property taxes despite Abbot promising relief every election cycle. Going with Doc. Elimination of property taxes is the way.
There are countless Americans whose lives and families were shattered because an illegal immigrant — who should never have been in our country — was allowed to stay and take an innocent life.
This is our why.
@Burrows4TX@angelia_orr The fact that Burrows and Abbot endorse her tells you all you need to know. Pray that she is successfully taken out by Kat Wall during the primaries giving Burrows one fewer vote for Speaker next session!
@Burrows4TX Look at the responses he received after endorsing you. You are not MAGA but instead a RHINO and we have seen it clearly over the last two sessions. Do you even know what you have become or is the power the only thing driving you these days?
@LeaderJohnThune Explain to us why you are selling out the American people…Who specifically owns you? You are ridiculous and your grandkids will ultimately pay the price even if they get a huge payout from your grift. Pass the Save Act and quit making excuses!
@ktrhnews@brianeharrison Unfortunately @Burrows4TX doesn’t have the courage to call out a racist. He relies on the racist to keep him in power and that is the most important thing to him, power…
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6…….🙏🏼
@elonmusk Yet they are building coal plants at a pace no other nation can match? Why? Maybe solar isn’t that great and they need coal to provide power to charge the EV’s…
