qewron stayed by dc side even after he no longer needed the amulet but the moment dc ordered him to prove his loyalty by killing qash, he proved where his loyalty had always belonged. even after admitting how much he hates qash now, he still chose to protect him. again.

qAsh wasn't thinking about when qEwron lied to him. HE MEANT THAT QEWRON TOLD HIM TO LIE/PRETEND THEY AREN'T CLOSE.
HE PRETENDED HE DOESN'T TRUST QEWRON IN FRONT OF OTHERS THE WAY HE ALWAYS DID AND WAS CONFUSED WHY QEWRON WAS MAD ABOUT IT. OH MY FUCKING GOD.

I was wondering what he meant by the strange wording.
"-when did I lie to you?
- you told me... to lie... you told me to-"
What kind of reply is that? He was confused and tried to word it correctly but qEwron cut him off.
"-besides the roof
-you told me to pretend... didn't you?"
Pretend qEwron is a liar, pretend they aren't close, pretend he doesn't care about him. qAsh never betrayed qEwron. qAsh did what he always did with others - pretended he doesn't care or trust about qEwron, the way they agreed. Next time they talked and he was being cold to qEwron, qTina was standing next to them too. They didn't get a chance to talk solo about it and when they did qAsh was too confused about qEwron wanting him to act as if he cares when they agreed to pretend to do the opposite.

Just listen to the clip with the context. It becomes so obvious. You can hear how genuinely lost he sounds in the "you told me to pretend... didn't you?" as he realizes what qEwron wanted in real time. He was sure they wouldn't kill qEwron so he acted indifferent but when he told him so, qEwron left before they got a chance to talk it out.

My heart fucking hurts. This is BEYOND a miscommunication. qAsh sticked to their plan same way he did when they wanted him to choose between qJuan or qEwron, qEwron was the one that was disappointed in him for for it, qAsh was confused as of why he would be if nothing happened to him and he kept how much he cares about him a secret. They didn't get a chance to explain it. This is beyond fucked on so many levels. YOU CAN HEAR HE CARES AND IS LOST IN THE CONVERSATION. I'm in pain. Nobody talk to me.
