Did you know that without Ọ̀rúnmìlà, there is absolutely no Ifá? 🤔📜
Many people confuse the two, but their relationship is deeply profound. While Ifá is the boundless ocean of science, knowledge, wisdom, and divine direction, Ọ̀rúnmìlà is the father of Ifá and the messenger sent by God to guide human destiny. 🦅✨
Even as a deity who stands alone, Ọ̀rúnmìlà himself consults Ifá to see the outcome of all things!
We just dropped a brand new long-form video breaking down the fascinating mysteries of Ifá ati Ọ̀rúnmìlà. You don’t want to miss this spiritual masterclass.

Dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
@officialABAT
Your Excellency,
I would like to follow up with you on my April 17, 2026 letter in which I drew your attention to the issue of
@MTNNG and the growing concerns surrounding its services.
Many Nigerians are increasingly worried about the rising cost of airtime and internet data, especially in the face of economic hardship. What makes this situation even more troubling is the poor quality of service that accompanies these high charges.
Citizens across the country continue to experience slow internet speeds, frequent disconnections, and inconsistent network coverage, all while being charged premium prices.
More frustrating is the fact that, due to these poor services, purchased internet data often expires before it can be used. Many Nigerians report that despite buying data bundles, they are unable to enjoy them fully because of slow or non-functional internet connections. This results in wasted resources and deepens the public’s dissatisfaction.
This is not only affecting personal communication but also impeding business activities, education, access to government services, and the ability of young Nigerians to innovate and compete in the digital economy.
Your Excellency, we respectfully urge your administration to look into this matter urgently. We ask that regulatory bodies such as the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) be strengthened and encouraged to hold service providers accountable, promote transparency in pricing, and ensure Nigerians receive the quality of service they are paying for.
We believe that under your leadership, Nigeria can create a more equitable digital environment that truly empowers its citizens.
Thank you for your attention.

Every year, Ojúde Ọba breaks the internet with spectacular fashion, unmatched steeze, and rich cultural pride. But long before it became the ultimate showcase of colours and luxury, it started with a simple, profound act of gratitude. 🕊️🕌
It began when early Muslim converts in Ìjẹ̀bú-Òde visited the Awùjalẹ̀ to say a heartfelt "thank you" for the freedom to practice their faith peacefully. Decades later, that small visit has grown into one of Africa’s biggest cultural celebrations!
At Yorùbá Wikimedians, we love documenting the real stories behind our grandest traditions.
👇 Now it’s your turn! Share what you know or your favourite part of Ojúde Ọba in the comments below! Let's celebrate our history together. 🇳🇬💬
